Low Phosphorus Electroless Nickel (Low-P EN)
Low phosphorus electroless nickel plating can be applied to stainless steel, alloy steels, cast iron, aluminum, copper, and copper alloys.
With 1.5 – 3% phosphorus content, it offers the highest wear resistance among electroless nickel systems.
It is especially suitable for applications requiring high wear resistance and high electrical conductivity, including electronic components.
Hardness values reach 47 – 53 HRC after plating and 65 – 72 HRC after heat treatment.
