High Phosphorus Electroless Nickel (High-P EN)
High phosphorus electroless nickel is a next-generation, lead-free and environmentally friendly coating technology.
With a phosphorus content between 10 – 12%, it provides excellent corrosion resistance and superior surface stability.
Hardness values reach 42 – 47 HRC after plating and 62 – 67 HRC after heat treatment.
The high phosphorus content ensures outstanding corrosion protection together with reliable wear resistance.
This coating complies with ELV, WEEE and RoHS directives and is widely used in regulated industries.
Typical applications include:
- • Wood and paper industry equipment
- • Natural gas valves and safety valves
- • Automotive components
- • Printing and graphic machinery
In printing applications, High-P EN is often preferred over hard chrome due to its superior thickness uniformity and surface quality.
